WITHOUT OUR PASSIONS, WE WOULD BE MUCH LESS

We are an independent initiative with a deep love for cognitive science. As the CogIST team, our aim is to reach out, first in Istanbul, then across Turkey, to students, scholars, and curious minds who share this passion. Through social and scientific collaboration, we strive to contribute to cognitive science, the academic environment in Turkey, and to one another.

We have published nearly 200 articles and organized around 300 events to date. Bringing together researchers from universities such as Harvard, Stanford, and Boğaziçi with audiences ranging from high school students to academics, we continue to be one of the largest and most dynamic cognitive science platforms in the world, introducing tens of thousands of people in Turkey and the world to cognitive science.
