Data Controller: CogIST

As the data controller, CogIST prioritizes the privacy and security of personal data belonging to individuals with whom it has a direct or indirect relationship, including users, participants, business partners, and employees. These data are processed and protected in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, international human rights conventions to which Turkey is a party, and, most importantly, the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVKK"), as well as all applicable legislation.

In this context, pursuant to Article 10 of the KVKK, we hereby fulfill our obligation to inform you as the data controller.ne getiriyoruz.

The personal data you share with CogIST as a user, participant, supporter, supplier, or employee may be processed in a limited, proportionate, and purpose-related manner for our operational and service objectives. Your data may be shared with third parties located in Turkey or abroad, stored securely, used in analysis and profiling activities, and classified into categories.

Purpose of Processing Personal Data

During your use of the CogIST platform, we may process the following categories of personal data:

Identity Information: First and last name.
Information: number, email address.
Education Data:Trainings attended, duration of training, access credentials.
Financial Data:Payment details, IBAN, invoicing information.
Legal Transaction Data: Records of complaints and refund-related information.
Log Records:IP address, usage information on the platform, access history.

Your personal data are processed by CogIST:

In accordance with the law and principles of good faith,
In a limited, proportionate, and purpose-related manner,
Accurately and kept up to date,
For specific, clear, and legitimate purposes.

The personal data collected are processed for the following purposes:

To create and track your registration for trainings and workshops,
To facilitate your access and usage of the platform,
To monitor your payments and invoicing processes,
To provide access to training content,
To issue and deliver participation certificates,
To respond to questions, suggestions, and complaints,
To fulfill our legal obligations (e.g., providing information to official authorities when required),
To conduct statistical analyses to improve our services and ensure user satisfaction.

In this scope, your personal data may also be processed to better understand your needs and expectations, strengthen communication processes, and deliver more personalized, high-quality services. Additionally, data may be analyzed to measure satisfaction, evaluate feedback, and improve and diversify services and content. Compliance audits and other legal reporting obligations are also among our data processing purposes.

Personal data belonging to our employees may also be processed by CogIST or third parties authorized by CogIST in accordance with the Labor Law, social security and employment legislation, and for reasons such as occupational health and safety, business continuity, and workplace harmony.

Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared—within the framework of the aforementioned purposes and in compliance with the KVKK and other relevant legislation—with CogIST's business partners, service providers, subcontractors, and auxiliary personnel. Such transfers are made only when required by the nature of the service and under confidentiality obligations.

Additionally, your personal data may be transferred to regulatory and supervisory institutions and authorized public authorities when necessary to fulfill legal obligations. Where legally permitted or required, data may be transferred domestically or internationally.

Method and Legal Basis of Personal Data Collection

Your personal data may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically either directly from you or via indirect means, in alignment with the aforementioned purposes.

Accordingly, your data may be collected by CogIST or third parties processing data on behalf of CogIST through:

Application and registration forms filled electronically,
Contracts signed with CogIST,
Emails, faxes, or letters submitted to us,
Data obtained through your use of the platform,
Verbal or written communication channels.

Such data are processed in accordance with the legal bases listed under Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, including the establishment or performance of a contract, fulfillment of legal obligations, protection of the legitimate interests of the data controller, or your explicit consent.

Your Rights as a Data Subject

Pursuant to the KVKK and related regulations, as a data subject who has shared personal data with CogIST, you have the following rights

To learn whether your personal data have been processed,
To request information if your personal data have been processed,
To learn the purpose of the processing and whether data are used in line with that purpose,
To learn the third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred domestically or abroad,
To request correction if your personal data are incomplete or inaccurate,
To request deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions stipulated in the KVKK,
To request notification of the correction or deletion to third parties to whom the data have been transferred,
To object to any result arising to your detriment due to the analysis of your personal data exclusively by automated systems,
To request compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.

During the application process, you may be required to provide certain personal information to verify your identity. This information will be used solely for identity verification and to ensure secure handling of your request.
