October has arrived, and master’s and doctoral applications have started all around the world. Giving a new direction to your academic journey, studying at institutions that better align with your field, and building strong connections with professors and students there... All of these can fundamentally change the course of your academic career.
Most of us don’t have anyone in our close circle who has gone through these processes. Because of that, it often becomes difficult to imagine what to expect, decide which path to follow, and anticipate what challenges we might face along the way.
As CogIST, we see it as our mission not only to organize events focusing on the content of cognitive science, but also to create spaces where cognitive scientists can share their experiences, exchange knowledge and expertise, and build networks of solidarity.
For this purpose, we are back with a new event on Sunday, October 19, consisting of two sessions: “Studying Abroad: Q&A on Master’s and PhD Programs in Cognitive Science Abroad.”
In this event, which includes one master’s and one doctoral session, participants will be able to ask any questions they wish directly, while our guests who are currently continuing their education in different parts of the world will respond based on their own knowledge and experience.
If you are considering applying to institutions abroad for your master’s or PhD studies, grab your tea or coffee and join us!
This event will be a great opportunity to clarify your questions and shape your new roadmap for the future.
