Ya da evcil hayvan sahibi olanlar, minik dostlar\u0131n\u0131n evin yolunu nas\u0131l da b\u00f6yle kolay bulabildi\u011fi \u00fczerine d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnm\u00fc\u015f olabilir. \u00d6te yandan \u00fc\u00e7 boyutlu; yani eni, boyu ve derinli\u011fiyle tan\u0131mlanan uzamsal alanlarla ilgili becerilerin insan bili\u015finde nas\u0131l i\u015f g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc \u00fczerine bir \u015fekilde d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmek, hele ki navigasyonun hayat\u0131m\u0131za girmesiyle beraber daha da zorla\u015ft\u0131. Halbuki uzamsal becerilerin kullan\u0131lmas\u0131 s\u00fcreci, insan zihnindeki di\u011fer pek \u00e7ok beceriye dair geli\u015fen s\u00fcre\u00e7ler kadar karma\u015f\u0131k ve ili\u015fkisel. Bilimsel literat\u00fcrde, uzamsal bellek bir\u00e7ok a\u00e7\u0131dan incelenmi\u015f. Bunlardan baz\u0131lar\u0131; konum bilgisinin temsili, g\u00f6rsel bellek ile uzamsal bellek aras\u0131ndaki farkl\u0131l\u0131klar, \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma belle\u011fi ile uzamsal bellek aras\u0131ndaki ili\u015fki, uzamsal referans \u00e7er\u00e7eveleri ve uzamsal bilgiyi i\u015flemek i\u00e7in g\u00f6rsel olmayan unsurlar\u0131n kullan\u0131m\u0131 olarak s\u0131ralanabilir. Bu ba\u015fl\u0131klar\u0131n pek \u00e7o\u011funda g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fc \u00fczere, uzamsal beceriler s\u00f6z konusu oldu\u011funda salt g\u00f6rsel alg\u0131n\u0131n ya da g\u00f6rsel i\u015flemleme yoluyla sa\u011flanan bilgilerin devrede oldu\u011funu s\u00f6ylemek do\u011fru de\u011fil. \u00d6yle ki, uzamsal becerilerin kullan\u0131lmas\u0131 s\u00fcrecinde di\u011fer bili\u015fsel beceriler de devrede olabiliyor. Uzamsal ve dilsel alt sistemler aras\u0131ndaki ba\u011flant\u0131 ile uzamsal alg\u0131 ve uzamsal bellek performans\u0131n\u0131n dilbilimsel y\u00f6nleri konuya ili\u015fkin en \u00e7ok \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131lan alanlardan bir tanesi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"0535\"><strong>Uzamsal Becerilere \u0130li\u015fkin N\u00f6rog\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleme Bulgular\u0131<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"4dce\">Dilsel ve uzamsal i\u015flemleme s\u00fcre\u00e7leri aras\u0131ndaki koordinasyon, mekansal bilginin kodlanmas\u0131nda \u00f6nemli bir rol oynar. Dilsel becerilerde sol ve g\u00f6rsel becerilerde sa\u011f hemisferin ba\u015fat oldu\u011fu bilgisi her iki beceriyi de kullanmay\u0131 gerektiren uzamsal g\u00f6revlerde do\u011frulansa da di\u011fer pek \u00e7ok zihinsel i\u015flemde oldu\u011fu gibi uzamsal g\u00f6revler s\u00f6z konusu oldu\u011funda da ilgili alanlar\u0131n ili\u015fkisel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131na dair bulgular elde edilmi\u015ftir (Cona ve Scarpazza, 2019). Bununla birlikte bu e\u015f g\u00fcd\u00fcml\u00fc sistemin n\u00f6rog\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleme \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na yans\u0131yan bir bulgusu, ya\u015f fakt\u00f6r\u00fcyle beraber de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fe u\u011fruyor olmas\u0131d\u0131r. Bu konuyu ele alan bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada, beyindeki ventral yolu takip eden sistemle ili\u015fkilendirilen \u201cNe?\u201d ve dorsal yolu takip eden sistemle ili\u015fkilendirilen \u201cNerede?\u201d bilgileri, uzamsal i\u015flemlemede g\u00f6zlemlenen frontal lateralizasyon ya\u015f farkl\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan incelendi. (Ventral yol, beynin g\u00f6rme ile ili\u015fkilendirilen oksipital lobundan a\u015fa\u011f\u0131 yani temporal lob y\u00f6n\u00fcnde ilerleyen i\u015flemleme yoludur. Dorsal yol ise oksipital alandan yukar\u0131 yani perietal lob y\u00f6n\u00fcnde ilerleyen yolu tan\u0131mlar. Alan yaz\u0131n\u0131ndaki bulgulara g\u00f6re, ventral sistemin \u015feyleri tan\u0131mlama ve dorsal sistemin \u015feylerin konum bilgisini kavrama y\u00f6n\u00fcnde aktif oldu\u011fu kabul g\u00f6rmektedir. Bu bilgiler s\u0131ras\u0131yla \u201cNe?\u201d ve \u201cNerede?\u201d olarak ifade edilmektedir.) Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n sonu\u00e7lar\u0131, gen\u00e7 ve ya\u015fl\u0131 yeti\u015fkinler aras\u0131ndaki fark\u0131 ortaya koydu. Gen\u00e7 kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131larda, y\u00fcz e\u015fle\u015ftirme g\u00f6revi ventral sistemde daha fazla aktivasyona yol a\u00e7t\u0131. Konum e\u015fle\u015ftirme g\u00f6revinde ise dorsal sistemde daha fazla aktivasyon g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc. Gen\u00e7 yeti\u015fkinlerde g\u00f6zlemlenen bu bulgular beklendik olsa da durum ya\u015fl\u0131 bireyler i\u00e7in farkl\u0131yd\u0131. Ya\u015fl\u0131 yeti\u015fkinlerde, her iki g\u00f6rev s\u0131ras\u0131nda da dorsal ve ventral sistem aktivasyonun derecesi \u00f6nemli \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde yak\u0131nl\u0131k g\u00f6sterdi. Bununla birlikte, gen\u00e7 yeti\u015fkinlerin s\u00f6zel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma belle\u011fi aktiviteleri boyunca sol frontal b\u00f6lge ve uzamsal \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma belle\u011fi aktiviteleri boyunca sa\u011f frontal b\u00f6lge bask\u0131nd\u0131. Bununla birlikte, lateralizasyonun \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcs\u00fc ya\u015flanmayla beraber azal\u0131yordu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"782b\"><strong>Referans Sistemleri<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"fcfc\">Uzamsal verinin d\u00fczenlenmesi ve hat\u0131rlanmas\u0131nda dilsel \u00f6gelerin de \u00f6nemli bir rol\u00fc vard\u0131r. Elbette ki bu \u00f6gelerin ba\u011flamla nas\u0131l ili\u015fkilendirildi\u011fi, uzamsal g\u00f6rev performanslar\u0131n\u0131, zihinsel i\u015fleyi\u015fi ve beyin aktivasyonlar\u0131n\u0131 etkileyebilmektedir (Galati ve ark., 2010). \u015eeylerin konumland\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131na ili\u015fkin dilsel s\u0131n\u0131flama;&nbsp;<em>i\u00e7sel referans, g\u00f6reli referans ve mutlak referans<\/em>&nbsp;olarak ifade edilmi\u015ftir. \u0130\u00e7sel referansa g\u00f6re, uzamsal tan\u0131mlamalar\u0131 \u015feylerin kendileri \u00fczerinden referans al\u0131r\u0131z. \u00d6rne\u011fin yolu \u201cevin \u00f6n\u00fcndeki araba\u201d \u00fczerinden tarif etti\u011fimizde i\u00e7sel referans sistemini temel alm\u0131\u015f oluruz. Asl\u0131nda burada kendi i\u00e7sel referans\u0131m\u0131z de\u011fil, ev \u00fczerinden bir i\u00e7sel yorumlama s\u00f6z konusudur. Evin etraf\u0131ndaki \u015feyleri bir nevi evin kendisiymi\u015f (ya da i\u00e7erisindeymi\u015f) gibi konumland\u0131r\u0131r\u0131z. G\u00f6reli referansa g\u00f6re ise, bir g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131 yani g\u00f6zlemci bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131 vard\u0131r. \u00d6rne\u011fin araban\u0131n evin sa\u011f\u0131nda oldu\u011fu s\u00f6ylendi\u011finde, solda ya da sa\u011fda olma durumu g\u00f6zlemcinin konumuna g\u00f6re de\u011fi\u015fkenlik g\u00f6sterir. Asl\u0131nda tam da burada kendi i\u00e7sel referans\u0131m\u0131zdan bahsederiz. Konuyu a\u00e7\u0131klamak a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan sol-sa\u011f \u00f6rne\u011fi daha anla\u015f\u0131l\u0131r olsa da, di\u011fer t\u00fcm uzamsal stratejiler i\u00e7in de ayn\u0131 referans uygulanabilir. Son olarak mutlak referans, evin araban\u0131n \u201ckuzeyinde\u201d oldu\u011funu s\u00f6ylemek \u015feklinde bir s\u00f6ylemi ifade eder. T\u00fcm bu kullan\u0131mlar,&nbsp;<em>egosantrik \u00e7er\u00e7eve (egocentric frame)<\/em>&nbsp;ve&nbsp;<em>allosantrik \u00e7er\u00e7eve (allocentric frame)<\/em>&nbsp;olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan uzamsal referans \u00e7er\u00e7eveleri ile ili\u015fkilidir. Egosantrik referans \u00e7er\u00e7evesi g\u00f6zlemcinin bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131na dayanan \u00f6znel bir \u00e7er\u00e7eveyken, allosantrik referans \u00e7er\u00e7evesi ku\u015fbak\u0131\u015f\u0131 perspektifle alg\u0131lanan nesnel bir bili\u015fsel haritaland\u0131rmaya dayan\u0131r. Bahsedilen stratejiler uzamsal bilgiyi kodlama, i\u015fleme, depolama ve hat\u0131rlama s\u00fcre\u00e7lerinin her biri i\u00e7in kullan\u0131labilir. Ayr\u0131ca bu stratejiler do\u011frudan s\u00f6zel ifadeleri temel alm\u0131yor olsa bile \u00e7evreyi analiz, \u00f6\u011frenme ve hat\u0131rlama s\u0131ras\u0131ndaki i\u00e7sel konu\u015fma (<em>inner speech<\/em>) i\u00e7in de kullan\u0131l\u0131r. (Tommasi ve Laeng, 2012).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"f650\">Pederson (2003) cinsiyet, ya\u015f, uzmanl\u0131k seviyesi, \u00e7evresel ba\u011flam, k\u00fclt\u00fcrel \u00f6\u011frenmeler gibi fakt\u00f6rlerin hangi \u00e7er\u00e7evenin ve stratejinin kullan\u0131laca\u011f\u0131na etki edebilece\u011fini savunur. \u00c7evresel ba\u011flam\u0131n bir uzant\u0131s\u0131 olarak; haritaland\u0131r\u0131lan alandaki doluluk-bo\u015fluk ili\u015fkileri, alan\u0131n b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc, alan\u0131n daha \u00f6ncesinde hangi eylemler yoluyla deneyimlendi\u011fi de uzamsal stratejileri etkileyebilir (Majid ve ark., 2004). K\u00fclt\u00fcrel \u00f6\u011frenmelerle ili\u015fkili olarak da bireysel ya da topluluk\u00e7u bir k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc olan iki farkl\u0131 zihin, bu stratejileri farkl\u0131 \u015fekillerde kullanabilmektedir (Majid ve ark., 2004). Bu de\u011fi\u015fikleri ortaya koyabilen \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar aras\u0131ndan en \u00e7ok ele al\u0131nan etmenlerden ikisi ya\u015f ve cinsiyet fakt\u00f6rleridir. Egosantrik \u00e7er\u00e7evenin kullan\u0131m\u0131 ya\u015fa ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak de\u011fi\u015fmezken, allosantrik \u00e7er\u00e7evenin kullan\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 gerektiren g\u00f6rev performanslar\u0131nda ya\u015flanmayla birlikte bir d\u00fc\u015f\u00fc\u015f g\u00f6zlenmi\u015ftir (Colombo ve ark., 2017). \u00d6zellikle de iki \u00e7er\u00e7eveyi de\u011fi\u015fimli olarak kullanabilmeyi gerektiren (<em>switching abilities<\/em>) karma\u015f\u0131k uzamsal g\u00f6revlerde, \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcmlenen performansta ya\u015fa ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak belirgin bi\u00e7imde kademeli bir d\u00fc\u015f\u00fc\u015f g\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Cinsiyete bak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda ise, kad\u0131nlar\u0131n allosantrik \u00e7er\u00e7evenin kullan\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 gerektiren g\u00f6revlerde daha ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 oldu\u011fu bulgulanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r (Fernandez-Baizan ve ark., 2019). K\u00fclt\u00fcrel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar ise, egosantrik \u00e7er\u00e7eveye ge\u00e7i\u015f gerektiren g\u00f6revlerde \u00f6nceden kullan\u0131lan allosantrik \u00e7er\u00e7evenin bozucu etkisinin, topluluk\u00e7u k\u00fclt\u00fcrlerin bask\u0131n oldu\u011fu do\u011fu \u00fclkelerinde, bireyselci k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn daha bask\u0131n oldu\u011fu bat\u0131 \u00fclkelerine nazaran daha fazla oldu\u011fu g\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr (Martin, 2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"3c3e\">Bahsedildi\u011fi \u00fczere, \u00fczerinde \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131lan uzam\u0131n karakterini ele alan ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar da mevcut. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalardan dikkat \u00e7eken bir bulgu, \u00f6nceden deneyimlenmi\u015f ve a\u015fina olunan g\u00f6rsel-uzamsal \u00f6gelerin referans\u0131yla ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen uzamsal g\u00f6revlerde, kat\u0131l\u0131mc\u0131lar\u0131n allosantrik \u00e7er\u00e7eveyi daha \u00e7ok kullan\u0131yor olmas\u0131d\u0131r (Dehghan, 2020). Bunun aksine, mek\u00e2n i\u00e7erisindeki \u00f6gelere a\u015fina olunmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 ko\u015fulda, stratejiler daha ziyade egosantrik \u00e7er\u00e7eve temelinde geli\u015ftirilmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"06ca\"><strong>Sonu\u00e7 Yerine<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"e81c\">Uzamsal becerilerde dile ili\u015fkin tek ele al\u0131nan \u015fey referans sistemlerine dayal\u0131 kulland\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z stratejiler de\u011fil. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc uzamsal g\u00f6revler bir alan i\u00e7erisinde yolumuzu bulmak ya da birilerine bunu anlatmakla, yani insan bedeninin bu alanda konumland\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131yla s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 de\u011fil. \u015eeylerin birbirleriyle olan uzamsal ili\u015fkilerini fiilen i\u015fin i\u00e7ine dahil olmadan da anlatmam\u0131z gerekebilir. Bu durumda yolumuzu evin \u00f6n\u00fcndeki arabay\u0131 referans alarak bulmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmakla arabas\u0131n\u0131 nereye park etti\u011fini unutan birine arabas\u0131n\u0131n evin \u00f6n\u00fcnde oldu\u011funu s\u00f6ylemek zihinsel s\u00fcre\u00e7ler a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan farkl\u0131d\u0131r. Nihayetinde bunu yaparken de bir referans\u0131 temel al\u0131r\u0131z. Ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar bu ba\u011flam i\u00e7erisinde hangi s\u00f6zc\u00fckleri kulland\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 da inceleyebiliyor. \u00d6rne\u011fin, \u0130ngilizce\u2019de \u201con\u201d ve \u201cabove\u201d farkl\u0131 konumsal ili\u015fkileri ifade ederken, bu ili\u015fkiler Japonca\u2019da tek bir terim olan \u201cue\u201d ile kodlanabilir. Bu konuyla ilgili yap\u0131lan bir ara\u015ft\u0131rmada, diller aras\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rmalara odaklan\u0131l\u0131yor. Ara\u015ft\u0131rman\u0131n sonucunda, dilsel kullan\u0131m a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan g\u00f6zlenen farkl\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131n uzamsal becerilere ili\u015fkin performans \u00fczerinde belirgin bir farkl\u0131l\u0131\u011fa yol a\u00e7mad\u0131\u011f\u0131 ifade ediliyor (Munnich, Landau ve Dosher, 2001).
